Can I use butterscotch chips instead of chocolate chips in the standard nestle chocolate chip cookie recipe?

Can I use the Nestle chocolate chip cookie recipe on the back of the bag and substitute the chocolate for butterscotch? I don’t see why not, but then again I wanted to see if anyone else knew…

The same way just be used the same way just be careful because milk chocolate burns quicker then dark.
