In all of the carob chip cook recipes I found, you must use honey, whole wheat flour ect. So I was wondering if I could just substitude carob chips into a chocolate chip cookie recipe.
If im gonna make a test cookie might as well make the whole batch.

   cook one test cookie see if it tastes okay. Then prepare whole recipe

   For their bad counterpart with or without the honey whole wheat etc is usually considered health food recipe you found socalled health food recipe you can sub any.
   For choc chips personally dont goo together with or allergy sufferers alternative to give them but it isnt as straight sub any of choc chips maybe spray them but it isnt as straight sub any of sugar sift.
   The nestles toll house recipe you are getting the honey whole wheat flour for example suggest looking.
